Miller Brewing Company Honors Ron Fowler as “Legend” for More Than 30 Years of Passion and Performance in the Beer Business

SAN DIEGO, CA – Miller Brewing Company CEO Tom Long recently recognized beer distributor Ron Fowler, chairman and CEO of Liquid Investments, Inc., with the highly coveted "Miller Legend Award" in front of more than 3,000 fellow distributors from across the country.

SAN DIEGO, CA – Miller Brewing Company CEO Tom Long recently recognized beer distributor Ron Fowler, chairman and CEO of Liquid Investments, Inc., with the highly coveted "Miller Legend Award" in front of more than 3,000 fellow distributors from across the country.

The award was presented at the annual Miller Distributor Awards Banquet held in New Orleans this year.  To be eligible, recipients must have acquired at least 30 years of service as a Miller distributor; invested in and grown their Miller business over those years; demonstrated a passion for the beer business and Miller's portfolio of brands, and garnered the respect of their peers.

“Miller Legends represent the heart, and soul of this business we love,” said Long when introducing Fowler, along with other Miller Legends recipients.  “Every one of these men and women earned our respect and admiration for devoting their lives to build something truly special.”

Every year, Miller Brewing Company identifies and recognizes a select few long-time Miller distributors who are defined by their passionate approach to business, their involvement in their respective communities and by their excellence over time. 

Four other long-time beer industry veterans where honored as Miller Legends, including: Bob Footlick, Bond Distributing of Baltimore, MD; Leon Stepanian, Loveland Distributing of Richmond, VA; Clyde Fisher, Miller of Denton, TX; and former Miller president and CEO Leonard Goldstein.
